Tyla Joins Beach, Please! 2026

Tyla, the artist who conquered the world with “Water”, is coming to Beach, Please!
One of the most successful pop artists of the moment is arriving on the Romanian seaside this summer: Tyla, the South African superstar who turned “Water” into an international hit, is coming to Romania for the first time and will take the stage at Beach, Please!, the biggest hip-hop festival in the world, taking place at Nibiru, Costinești.
With a style that blends modern pop, R&B and amapiano rhythms, Tyla (24) has become in just a few years one of the most exciting figures in international music. Her energy, distinct style and the success of her songs on social media have quickly turned her into a symbol of the new generation of pop artists.
The hit that conquered the planet
The artist’s rise exploded in 2023 with the release of “Water”. The song went viral on TikTok and streaming platforms, generating hundreds of millions of listens and a global dance trend.
Her success was also confirmed at the most prestigious awards in the industry: Tyla already has two Grammy Awards, won in 2024 for “Water” and in 2026 for “Push 2 Start”, both in the Best African Music Performance category.
Over the past year, Tyla has performed at major festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Roskilde, Open’er and All Points East.
A phenomenon of the new generation
Just a few years after her debut, Tyla has managed to create her own artistic universe, where African influences blend with global pop culture and the energy of social platforms.
Her songs have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams. The “Water” video reached 374 million views on YouTube, “Push 2 Start” passed 140 million, and “Chanel”, another hit, surpassed 100 million. The artist is today an important representative of the new generation of pop music artists.
A line-up growing stronger: Playboi Carti, Future, Don Toliver, Yeat, Quavo
Tyla’s confirmation for this edition of Beach, Please! completes a line-up of artists dominating the music charts. She joins Yeat, the superstar of the new wave of trap, Playboi Carti, the pioneer of the rage sound, Future, the artist who forever changed the sound of trap and modern hip-hop, and Don Toliver, the artist who blends trap with R&B in a unique and hypnotic style.
In recent years, Beach, Please! has become one of the most important festivals dedicated to the new generation in Europe, attracting tens of thousands of fans and a line-up that directly reflects the global music culture of the moment.
Tyla’s concert promises to be one of the most energetic moments of this summer’s edition, bringing to the Costinești stage an artist who managed, in a very short time, to turn a hit into an international career.
